February 2013 - Onwards and upwards...

After running the Summer workshop for the kids of Abernethy, and finding myself after the Christmas season, with not much to do acting wise, I wanted to get back into teaching drama.

The kids expressed how much they enjoyed my classes last year and I said I’d definitely be back as soon as possible.

So that is exactly what I did.

I’ve worked out what day is free for the hall, and how much the fee will be and then priced it, made up a cool poster and flyers to go round schools. Hoping to get more numbers than the summer school as, last time everyone was away on holidays so wasn’t great timing! Fingers crossed!

February 2013 - A well earned rest

So I have taken a well deserved few weeks rest after the end of the Christmas season. I miss it but got my business head on!

I unfortunately had no luck in finding an agent, still! But can only keep trying. In the mean time to earn a living I will put my skills to use and now if the perfect time to start up drama classes like I said I would ages ago!

Also I have advertised my singing lesson since after the Fringe and had some interest during xmas so they will officially start up again NOW! Will be great to get back into the teaching, I find it a great way of earning and fun at the same time.

Will keep you all updated of that!

I have also started singing with a good friend of mine Amy Rayner a Singer/Songwriter who played my daughter in STREETS. She is working on a new EP and I will be doing backing vocals and percussion. We are due to play a couple of gigs soon too. I have missed singing original material and love my friends music.

My way to give support is by helping them out offering my time but it is great to be able to build up my own skills and work with other musicians too!
